Wobbly Wisdom

Finding Grace
in the Wobble

Gentle reflections, stories and practices for anyone learning to live, listen and connect a little more wholeheartedly. Wobbles and all.

What is Wobbly Wisdom?

We don’t grow by never wobbling.
We grow by noticing the wobble, and finding our way back, again and again.

Wobbly Wisdom is a home for that kind of growing. It brings together the practical heart of Nonviolent Communication and the quiet depth of India’s contemplative traditions, offered in plain, warm language that anyone can use.

It is not about getting it right. It is about meeting ourselves and one another with a little more awareness, acceptance and compassion, especially in the moments when life does not go to plan.

1

The wobble is the teacher

Mistakes, mixed feelings and messy conversations are not detours. They are where the learning lives.

2

Connection is practised

Connection is not something we master, but something we keep practising, one conversation at a time.

3

We create the path

Wisdom isn’t about following someone else’s path. We make our own, one conscious, imperfect step at a time.

Our story

After almost two years, Wobbly Wisdom has finally found its expression

For nearly two years, the little turtle has quietly accompanied every Wobbly Wisdom post. It never had a formal identity. Somehow, that felt right. Wobbly Wisdom itself was still finding its own path.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been exploring what that expression might look like. I thought I was designing a logo. Instead, the logo was gently shaping me.

The turtle

The turtle stayed. It reminds me to move at my own pace.

The enso

The enso stayed. It reminds me that life is beautifully incomplete.

The path

The path begins exactly where the turtle takes its first step.

At first, the path was simply there. But something felt missing. Then it became clear: the path shouldn’t exist before the turtle. It should begin exactly where the turtle takes its first step, because wisdom isn’t about following someone else’s path. It’s about creating your own with every conscious, imperfect step.

And as the path gradually merges into the enso’s brushstroke, something beautiful happens. The journey and awareness become one.

Perhaps that’s what Wobbly Wisdom has been trying to say all along.

We don’t discover our path.
We create it, one wobbly step at a time.
